NVIDIA charges you $19.99 a month to stream games you already own.
And starting January 2026, they cap you at 100 hours.
One engineer from New Zealand built the free version with no cap.
It is called Steam Headless. 3,177 stars on GitHub. GPL-2.0.
Built by Josh Sunnex. 225 commits. The next contributor has 16. He has done more work than everyone else combined.
It is a Docker container that turns any spare PC, server, or NAS into your own personal cloud gaming machine.
Install Steam inside it. Mount your games folder. Open a browser on your phone, your laptop, your tablet, your TV.
Your games are right there. Streaming. From your own hardware. To anywhere in the world.
It supports NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel GPUs.
It streams over Moonlight, Steam Link, or straight to a web browser.
It runs Proton so Windows games work on Linux.
It installs Heroic, Lutris, and EmuDeck with one click for your non-Steam games.
It runs on Debian Trixie, Unraid, Ubuntu Server, or Docker Compose.
Last update: April 20, 2026. Still maintained. Still by one man from New Zealand.
Now compare the math.
GeForce NOW Ultimate: $19.99 a month. $239.88 a year. Forever. Capped at 100 hours per month. Run out? Pay $5.99 for another 15 hours.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: $22.99 a month. $275.88 a year. Forever. You stream Microsoft's games on Microsoft's hardware on Microsoft's terms.
Steam Headless: $0. Forever. Your hardware. Your games. Your network. No hour cap. No queue. No throttle.
Buy a used GPU once. Run this container. Stream your entire Steam library to any device on the planet.
That is the entire pitch.
But DO NOT install it. We should all keep paying NVIDIA and Microsoft to play the games we already bought.
100% Open Source. (Link in the comments)
What I’ve noticed with my baby as we approach starting solids is this heavy emphasis on fruit purées and cereals from the “experts”. It’s awful. Actual nutrient-dense foods like egg, liver or butter get frowned upon, yet that’s exactly what they need.
At around 6 months babies have limited pancreatic amylase to digest complex carbohydrates like grains and starches. Classic studies show this enzyme is still very low and only ramps up later, which is why early starch loads can lead to incomplete digestion and discomfort for them.
They are equipped to handle fat and protein. Most importantly CHOLESTEROL. Breast milk is full of it because it’s essential for brain myelination and rapid development in the first years.
So why are the “experts” pushing first foods that are often low-fat and low in bioavailable nutrients? Babies thriveee on fat/protein/cholesterol-rich foods that echo milk. Low-fat, low-nutrient starters are not it!
🚨‼️ BREAKING: Declassified CIA files expose U.S. plans to control the world by manipulating the weather.
All those chemtrails in the sky… 100% now confirmed real.
Ladies, you need to be babymaxxxxing...especially later in life.
Women who had a child after the age of 40 were FOUR TIMES more likely to live to 100.
Pregnancies massively increase progesterone, the most healing female hormone.
Your brain basically stopped recording your life around age 25. Everything since then is a blur for a reason.
Neuroscientists measured this so many times they named it: the reminiscence bump. Ask anyone over 60 to recall their strongest memories and almost every answer clusters between ages 15 and 25. The decade where everything was new. First job, first apartment, first real relationship. Your brain encoded each day because nothing had a template yet.
After that window closes, most people enter a repetition loop. Same commute, same office, same weekend rhythm. The brain stops recording repeated experiences as distinct events. A year with 300 novel days leaves 300 memory anchors. A year with 10 leaves 10. Both took 365 days to live. Only one of them will exist when you look back.
This is why people at 50 say "where did the time go." The time went into routine that felt like living but left almost nothing behind.
Your remaining years are fixed. How many your brain bothers to remember is entirely up to you.
Autopsies show ELDERLY BRAINS have 20x HIGHER aluminum levels than middle-aged ones.
Long-term aluminum exposure increased Alzheimer’s risk by 71% — in a review of 10,567 people.
Your body has NO built-in way to remove it. It only builds up.
Your deodorant. Your cookware. Your tap water. Your aluminum foil. It crosses into your brain — and it stays.
There’s one mineral shown to pull it out.
Silica.
Silica and aluminum compete for the same spots in your body
When silica rises, aluminum gets knocked loose into your blood
Your kidneys flush it out through urine
12-week trial. Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease. Patients drank 1L of silica-rich water daily. Aluminum flushed out through urine. 3 out of 15 showed improved memory and thinking.
I drink silica-rich water daily and supplement orthosilicic acid. Non-negotiable.
My favorite sources:
- Fiji Water — 85-93mg of natural silica per liter
- Nettle tea — one of the richest plant sources of bioavailable silica
- Orthosilicic acid — the most absorbable supplement form. No plastic bottle needed.
A French engineer who lives quietly in Paris has spent 30 years writing software that the entire internet now runs on without knowing his name.
He wrote the code that streams every YouTube video, every Netflix show, every TikTok clip. He wrote the code that runs the virtual servers underneath AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. He calculated more digits of pi than anyone in history. He has no Twitter. He has no marketing. He just keeps shipping.
His name is Fabrice Bellard.
Here is the story, because almost nobody outside the systems programming world knows what one man has built.
Fabrice was born in 1972 in Grenoble, France. He studied at École Polytechnique, the top French engineering school. He never went to Silicon Valley. He never built a startup empire. He just wrote code.
In 2000 he started a project called FFmpeg, an open-source multimedia framework for encoding, decoding, and streaming video. He was 28. The project did one thing nobody else had done well. It handled every video and audio format that existed, in one library, on every operating system. He led it himself for years.
Today FFmpeg is the invisible engine of the internet. YouTube uses it. Netflix uses it. VLC uses it. Chrome and Firefox use parts of it. Every Android phone, every iPhone, every smart TV, every video editing tool you have ever touched runs FFmpeg somewhere underneath. If you have watched a video on a screen in the last 20 years, Fabrice's code processed it.
He was not done.
In 2003 he started QEMU, a machine emulator and virtualizer. He wrote it solo until version 0.7.1 in 2005. QEMU lets you run any operating system on any other operating system. It became the foundation of modern virtualization. KVM, the Linux kernel hypervisor, runs on top of QEMU. Every major cloud provider, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud, runs virtual machines on infrastructure built around it. The Quick Emulator is the most cited piece of cloud infrastructure code on Earth.
He kept going.
In 2001 he won the International Obfuscated C Code Contest with a small C compiler that grew into TCC, the Tiny C Compiler. TCC can compile and boot a Linux kernel from source in under 15 seconds. In 2004 he calculated the most digits of pi ever computed at the time, using a personal desktop computer and an algorithm he derived himself called Bellard's formula. In 2011 he wrote a complete PC emulator in pure JavaScript that runs Linux in your browser, a project called JSLinux that engineers still cannot believe is real.
In 2019 he released QuickJS, a small but complete JavaScript engine that fits where V8 cannot. In 2021 he released NNCP, a neural network based lossless data compressor that immediately took the lead on the Large Text Compression Benchmark.
Then he turned his attention to large language models. He built TextSynth Server, a web server with a REST API for running LLMs locally. He released ts_zip and ts_sms, compression utilities that use language models to compress text and short messages at ratios traditional algorithms cannot reach. He released TSAC, a very low bitrate audio compression system. In December 2025 he released Micro QuickJS, a new JavaScript engine for microcontrollers, separate from QuickJS, designed for environments with almost no memory.
Fabrice co-founded a telecom company called Amarisoft in 2012, where he serves as CTO. Amarisoft builds 4G and 5G base station software used by carriers and labs around the world. He has been running it for over a decade while continuing to ship personal projects from his own home page at bellard dot org
He has no Twitter. He has no Instagram. He gives almost no interviews. His personal website is a flat list of projects with no styling, no fonts, no marketing copy. Just titles and links.
A quiet French engineer who never moved to Silicon Valley wrote the code that quietly runs the internet.
He is still shipping.
STUDY FINDS SUNSCREEN USE LINKED TO DRAMATICALLY HIGHER RISK OF MULTIPLE SKIN CANCERS
A UK Biobank analysis of 470,000+ people found sunscreen users faced significantly higher risk of:
- MELANOMA: +292%
- BASAL CELL CARCINOMA: +140%
- SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA: +126%
This is what happens when you slather rapidly absorbed hormone disrupting chemicals all over your body while blocking vitamin D — one of the body’s key defenses against cancer.
These dramatic cancer signals remained even after accounting for major skin cancer risk factors: age, sex, skin type, tanning ability, sunburn history, sunlamp use, and time spent outdoors.

2 Kiwis a day reverses signs of skin aging in clinical trial.
The kiwis increased skin density by ~50% after 8 weeks.
The green here represents functional tissue, mainly collagen protein, in the skin.
Kiwis also improved the rate of skin cell proliferation - A loss of this process means the skin is aging and deteriorating.
This is due to kiwis' sky high content of vitamin C.
This is biblical.
A woman in her eighties. Ten years into Alzheimer's. Hadn't spoken a full sentence in five years.
Takes one, 5 gram dose of psilocybin.
She slept 19 hours and woke up and spoke for hours about her life, recognized family and held real conversations. She regained bladder control after five years, walked on her own. and dressed herself. Gains held for weeks.
