Another reason North Carolina biotech is underrated:
They have a state-of-the-art lab, called BTEC, where students take *hands-on* courses in biomanufacturing. They learn to use bioreactors, engineer cells & purify drugs.
Very few U.S. schools seem to have this for students.

The barriers to automating biological engineering are decreasing thanks to @opentrons and new methods from the scientific community. Kudos to @RClayWright for the TidyTron https://t.co/3miY011YiF and AssemblyTron https://t.co/KwioqW0GEY
@ATinyGreenCell https://t.co/EINkWt1Ew6 I still need to finish the cell growth section, but the Monod model of cell growth is very similar to Michaelis-Menten enzyme kinetics.
