At 4/15 statewide meeting, consensus was to disaffiliate from the National Women’s March. We’ll stay together to continue our work in the name of human rights for all. Members voted, and our new name is the RI Womxn’s Action Initiative-stay tuned! https://t.co/v5BUSeLKKd
@sucely_murillo gives a passionate plea to Cover All Kids with #RIteCareWorks, something we can all work to achieve this year. All children deserve health insurance and the health care they need to thrive.
Save the date, and stay tuned for additional details. We’re still here, still fighting for reproductive healthcare, still standing with ALL who are at risk because of draconian laws enacted in TX and across the US. #AbortionIsHealthcare#MyBodyMyChoice
.@AmbRice46,@WHCOS,@POTUS,@SecDef Demilitarize the police. Demilitarize our schools. Demilitarize our communities. Stop aiding and abetting the state-sanctioned violence against Black people -- #End1033
Whew. I know folks are tired but I’m over here thinking about how we can not allow the GOP to retake the Senate or the House in 2022. And we have to fight them in every local election too. The fight is not over. We have to keep beating them back like a bushfire right now.
We’ve played four years of defense, fighting for scraps. Now we must go on offense, and start fighting for a living wage, universal healthcare, a Green New Deal, true human rights reform, free and fair elections, democratic economies, and so much more. It starts today. @UpriseRI
I don’t want to hear these coup-supporting GOP talk about “blue lives” ever again.
They never cared about safety.
Never cared about “law & order.”
And certainly do not care for democracy.
They only care for power, & invited chaos in an effort seize it. They are unfit to serve.
Everyone forgive yourselves for not functioning normally in the midst of a raging pandemic, failing economy & nation teetering on full out civil war.
