Great example of taking care of your equipment! Having the skills to maintain your own boat not only demonstrates commitment, it also helps you troubleshoot problems you may encounter year round. Nice blower, by the way!
Very heavy rainfall, indirectly associated with Hurricane Matthew, has already caused flooding in parts of southwest Virginia and northwest NC. Flash Flood and Flood Warnings are in effect!

Who wore it better today...Police or Fire? I’ll concede to my buddy Nick at HPD. The best part of this morning was the partnership, the awareness & the brotherhood. Working together to keep our community safe. Now that’s #OneTownOneTeam#SchoolZoneCrackdown#TrafficVests
We need to listen- swimming is one part of survival in water- the other part is knowing the dangers! It starts at school level: many stakeholders are working hard ( all are volunteers) but it needs support #watersafety#drowningprevention
