@Richard_Amm My understanding (not a lawyer) is that chairs that cap around 4 mph are fair game, but the ones that go faster are then a "vehicle" and so laws around drinking and having 3rd party insurance kick in
@stageyrebecca I'd say it's also inaccurate. It doesn't take that long to physically put a ramp down and then go up or down it. The delay is likely due to poor planning by railway staff if they're not ready to put a ramp down when the train arrives
Great night at the WCMX British Open, thrilled to be awarded third place in the women's world championship, ranking me the current UK women's number one!

@MaryRegW@CAChalmers_ Immense disappointment that Walk Manager's origin story relates to legality of leafleting in the US instead of a magnet-related leaflet strategy. Perhaps "good morning" leaflets being magnetised (as depicted in the original tweet) would increase their visibility?
Had a great trip to Harrogate to support @tomgordonLD - residents telling us they're switching from both Labour and Conservatives to back a strong local campaigner.
A little bit of rain doesn’t stop us 🔶
Lots of people saying they will be voting Lib Dem to get an MP who will fight for our NHS, help with the cost of living crisis, & stop the sewage scandal 🗳️
A huge thanks to Rebecca & Lloydie who came from Nottingham to help today 👏
Robust scrutiny is key to a well-functioning local council. This successful appeal to the ICO is strong local journalism. Great work from @JoeLocker96 , @OliverPridmore and the team at @nottslive
Much was made at a recent @MyNottingham meeting of how @guardian had successfully analysed our city but @nottslive had not.
Being supportive doesn't always equal supporting the council - to us it means speaking up for people who live here. https://t.co/ScpBsZ3TV8
Rebecca has been demonstrating outside Downing Street today, calling for improved funding for local authorities, at a protest in response to the government removing the post of Minister for Disabled People
