@TheSecretAcct @DanNeidle And people wonder why rents are going up so strongly they're probably 20-30% under where they need to be to make a return worth the effort. Sold ours a few years ago the effort and return vs paying down our mortgage and maxing pension contributions

@tourismsvoice Margins are already thin. On 25k of income last year 14k went straight to local business trades / housekeeping. At 5k of tax we'll either need to raise prices or just not bother with the hassle of letting it and keep it just for us

I raised this again with the Govt in the Commons this week.
They must not leave my constituents in such distress ever again.

@DrNeilHudson 2 @DrNeilHudson Compensation should be much higher. A few hours late on a plane gives 100s of compensation this puts peoples lives on hold for days and the compensation barley covers extra costs inccured. By the 72 hour point it should equate to their annual water bill
