@gregisenberg *I did not do that lol. I just woke him up, said this was not a fit, and took off. Had another meeting.
I later learned his father was a famous futurist/technologist and then it all made sense
@gregisenberg This happened to me, but it was just me and the partner. So I took out my sharpie and drew all over his face. He was fired later that day for inappropriate hygiene and wardrobe.
@cameronpriest@Alfred_Lin Yes. We have seen it. Couldn’t believe it at first when we got the phone call from our customer, but then confirmed it with the right sources.
All happened because of @intro
@scottbelsky When do you think that will happen?
I agree with you, but just trying to figure out where in cycle we think we are.
Also, congrats on your new niece, she’s a cutie
I agree with this.
Some people are special. They have the eye. Steve Jobs clearly had “the” eye. My guess is that he helped Jony Ives become the great designer he is. Every great athlete, writer, etc has a coach, an editor, etc. There is something about a great designer who teams up with a great design oriented leader and it leading to the creation of something iconic.
The NeXT logo was and is still bad. He should have sought Job’s feedback. The new Ferrari is bad (sorry).
Maybe we should all seek to want to work with greatness, versus getting irked by little things stemmed from our ego. The world would move faster and be more beautiful.
When you’re a business owner, you’re always open; even on Sunday mornings.
I’m grateful for it.
The fact that I get to do this, out of all the people in the world, and that it’s something people want, it’s very special.
Shout outs & respect to all the founders building!
