In a world that celebrates the racehorses—the slick and shiny—it’s ok to be a donkey.
Donkeys get things done by being consistent, resilient, and resourceful. They serve tirelessly, yet know the value of rest, play, and pacing.
Stop competing, start serving. #donkeyprinciples
@BethMooreLPM Thank you Beth. Your words mean so much to those of us who have spent the last 10 years bewildered and bereft of what we thought we knew. You are a gift.
Ok ok I did it! Find me over on the happy sky place, same handle 😄 I’d love to connect!
I’m also on 🧵s and IG

So many I followed here have left, so now weird conspiracies and irrelevant posts are in my feed and it’s unrecognizable. Sad
@JustAmyZing Amy I’m so very sorry. Your dad must have been so special and I know he loved you dearly. I will hold you in my heart. Sending love and comfort.
So, what do we do now? I'm busy revising my next novel. Great sale, too. My character? A brave, young Black woman who takes on the world! Yes, we can!

I was so ready to turn the page. I thought everyone else was too.
It’s going to take time to process, and I’ll do most of it offline… and outside.
Huge thank you to my fellow never Trumpers who made me feel less alone over these past years.
Character still matters.
I don’t even have the words for not having any words. We stick together. Breathe. Keep the patient comfortable. Feel like shit. Take care of the poor, each other and ourselves. Look around for all the light that remains and can never go out. Sending you all a big quavering hug.
May God truly Bless America today. And may we all pledge to respect each other and our institutions, remembering to be grateful for the privilege of citizenship in this great country.
This beautiful ‘network’ mosaic glass bowl looks so modern, yet it’s about 2,250 years old!
Made using an innovative Hellenistic technique in which thin threads of twisted glass were spiralled over a convex mould.
A wonderful example of the skill of ancient glassmakers!
