@TOEwithCurt Kierkegaard describes the aesthetic life as one of avoidance: avoiding commitment, depth and the self… but what drives that avoidance? I would suggest fear. Fear of suffering etc. So while Kierkegaard names boredom as the root of all evil, perhaps it’s more of a surface symptom

@GadSaad That said, Joe rogan is the no.1 podcast show in the world! In that sense is it not incumbent of the host to platform opposing opinions from people who go through the rigour of getting as close to reality as possible considering the narrative many of these discussions generate?
