The PM's spokesperson was asked repeatedly by lobby journalists if the UK would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu if he landed on UK soil.

He could not answer - and nor could he answer any questions on the UK process for enforcing ICC warrants.

It is understood that a domestic legal process needs to be carried out through the UK courts to determine whether to endorse the arrest warrant under UK law.

The PM's spox also couldn't say if Netanyahu would be welcome in the UK right now.

No 10 seems to have no clue how to respond to this development.
