Wendy responds well to basic commands such as sit and paw. She is a foodie and loves meal times and treats. There have been no signs of her being destructive in her kennel and is clean at toilet times. Her favourite time is out in the off-lead exercise area she prefers this rather than long periods of time in her kennel unit.
Wendy is a bit of a chatterbox who has a lot of energy to burn she is an adorable young girl who loves attention, stokes, and cuddles.

Norway just made a decision that will be remembered for years.
The country has officially ended fur farming nationwide. No more mink or foxes will be bred, kept in cages, and killed for clothing. An industry built on animal suffering is now gone.
This took years. Investigations exposed what life in fur farms looked like. Animals lived in small wire cages. They could not run, dig, or behave naturally. Many showed clear signs of stress. People saw the reality and spoke up.
Public pressure grew. Animal welfare groups kept pushing. More citizens questioned whether fashion could justify that cruelty. Lawmakers responded and passed a ban. Farmers received time to transition and shut down their operations. That process is now complete.
This matters. Thousands of animals will not be born into cages. Fewer lives will be treated like products. Norway chose compassion over tradition and profit.
The impact also reaches beyond Norway. Decisions like this show other countries that change is possible. They push others to look at their own systems and ask if they still make sense.
Consumers are driving this shift too. More people choose alternatives. More brands stop using fur. Demand is changing, and industries are forced to follow.
This is what progress looks like. It builds over time through awareness, pressure, and action. Then one day, what once seemed normal is no longer accepted.
Norway has drawn that line.

⚠️ ANOTHER DOG ABUSING ARSEHOLE
🚨 CONVICTED | Jade Harwood, 37, from #kingsnorton, #birmingham B38 – left an elderly flea-infested dog unattended with no food or water.
RSPCA rescuers found 11-year-old husky-type dog called Oleg severely underweight and covered in fleas inside Harwood’s squalid home, which was filled with litter and mould. No food or water was available for him.
The animal welfare charity had been called out to the address on multiple occasions regarding Oleg’s poor living conditions. It was also found that he was being left unattended for long periods.
Oleg was seized by police under animal welfare legislation and taken to the #RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre and Hospital for treatment.
The vet who examined Oleg said: “He had a body condition score of one out nine, meaning he was emaciated with muscle loss and no discernible fat.
“A reasonable owner would provide an adequate diet, ensure an adequate supply of water, and present their animal for veterinary assessment if they failed to gain or maintain a healthy weight."
While Oleg’s weight increased by 68% to 21.9kg in just three months, he was later put to sleep due to unrelated health issues.
Mother-of-two Harwood was found guilty of animal welfare offences in her absence.
The court heard in mitigation that she had “personal issues” and “caring responsibilities”.
RSPCA Inspector Ben Jones said: “Animals are completely reliant on their owners to ensure their needs, including the need for a suitable diet, are met.
“Owning an animal is a privilege and ensuring appropriate care is a key part of the responsibility we have towards them.”
Sentencing | 12-week custodial suspended for two years; £350 costs and £154 victim surcharge. 10-year ban.

She was advertised from #Garnant, #Ammanford SA18 area and that’s where we know she was last.
This is a post we genuinely never wanted to have to write.
Many of you will remember Hebe a tiny pocket Bully who arrived with us completely emaciated and severely dehydrated. She was so poorly that she spent her first three days at the vets fighting for her life. Thankfully, she pulled through, and after weeks of care, rehabilitation and love from the team, she recovered and was eventually adopted into what we hoped would be her forever home.
A few months later, her adopter contacted us to say that she herself was unwell and felt she could no longer care for Hebe, so arrangements were made for her return to the rescue. However, upon arriving, she changed her mind and decided to take Hebe back home instead, explaining that family members would help support her care. We made it clear that if they ever needed help, WWP would be there.
Shortly afterwards, we discovered Hebe had been given away without our permission.
Since then, we have made countless attempts to establish where she is and who she is with. Calls have gone unanswered, messages ignored, and doors not answered. Following the sad passing of her adopter, it became even more important for us to locate Hebe and make sure she was safe.
We were later informed by family members that she had been rehomed months earlier and was “happy in her new home”, but they have refused to tell us where she is. We subsequently found a Facebook post advertising her under the name “Scooby”. Whether she was sold or given away, we still do not know.
At this stage, we are simply asking for help to locate her.
Hebe is a WWP dog and a contract was signed stating that if she could no longer be cared for, she must be returned to the rescue. Right now, her microchip is flagged as stolen.
We want to make this absolutely clear
West wales poundies dog rescue are NOT looking to remove Hebe from a loving, settled home. If she is happy, safe and well cared for, we would be more than relieved to know that. Our only priority is confirming her welfare, updating our records and ensuring she is safe.
Due to the circumstances surrounding Hebe’s disappearance and the refusal to disclose her whereabouts, legal advice has now been sought. However, we sincerely hope this matter can be resolved quickly and amicably without taking this matter further.
This entire situation has caused enormous upset and stress to everyone involved at the rescue. The team fought to save Hebe’s life and cared for her through her recovery. Not knowing where she is or whether she is okay has been heartbreaking.
Someone out there knows where Hebe/Scooby is.
If you have any information at all regarding her whereabouts, please contact us in strict confidence. A reward is being offered for information leading to her location.
Please help us bring closure to this situation and, most importantly, help us confirm that Hebe is safe and well.
She has been neutered.

Live animal transport is cruel‼️.
Calves are a by-product of the dairy industry and are therefore often taken from their mothers shortly after birth. They are then loaded onto metal trucks, where temperatures can either become extremely hot or cold, and the animals are kept in cramped conditions🚚.
At their destination, they are fattened on poor-quality feed, only in most cases to be transported again 🚢 🔜.
This time, they are shipped to North Africa or the Middle East on overcrowded vessels, where many of these young animals die as diseases spread rapidly due to the lack of space and unhygienic conditions, including forcing them to stand in their own manure. Many times, the dead are simply thrown overboard 💔 .
Those who survive still face a cruel death at their destination.
We are calling on Council of the European Union and the European Parliament to end this horrific trade.

With the love and care of her devoted Minion (that’s me!), Kaia has gone from a fragile 17 kg to a healthier 24.9 kg. While she’s still not out of the woods—there’s a small chance she may have lymphoma—Kaia is heading towards stability, and we believe she deserves a chance at a loving home.

Gold Dancer died at Aintree on Friday. He was not the first. He will not be the last.
The RSPCA confirmed he was the 42nd horse to die in UK racing in 2026. It is only April.
Since the year 2000, 68 horses have died at Aintree alone. PETA responded by calling the Grand National Festival the Grand Massacre. Animal Aid said the words that landed hardest: Everyone who bought a ticket, placed a bet or watched the ITV coverage paid for this horse to die.
The BHA pointed to a falling fatal injury rate of 0.22 percent in 2025. Animal welfare groups said that number still represents hundreds of horses dying every year for entertainment.
Gold Dancer won £67,524. He was dead within minutes of crossing the line. The Grand National ran the following day.

A helpless dog is being tied up on a balcony every night at ATS Pious Hideaways, Sector 150, Noida suffering in silence, enduring pain and abuse. This is not an assumption. There is proof. The visuals are deeply disturbing.
What kind of human behavior is this? If you cannot care for a dog with love, dignity, and responsibility, why bring them into your life at all? There is no compulsion. No excuse for cruelty. This is pathetic and inhumane.
That innocent soul deserves warmth, safety, and freedom not chains, fear, and violence.
