My concern is not about the cost—the packaged water was complimentary. The concern is that bottled water was the default option instead of RO/safe drinking water, leading to unnecessary single-use plastic. Requesting FDA Maharashtra to verify compliance with its guidelines.

Celebrated my birthday at Achija, Vashi. Great food, but only complimentary packaged water bottles were served—no RO drinking water was offered. As per FDA Maharashtra’s directions, restaurants should provide free potable water, with bottled water only on request. @Tukaram_IndIAS

A Common cobra swallowed a cough syrup bottle in Bhubaneswar & was struggling to regurgitate it. Volunteers from snake help line gently widened the lower jaw to free the rim of the base of the bottle with great risk & saved a precious life. 👏
