My naive view: My view Trump is getting "played" by Iran, 2 weeks here, 60 days there, and all days are closer to the mid-terms. I know Trump is the great "Deal Maker", but I think the current situation in long term will not work out good for him.
That said, I love Trump and hope that I am wrong.
Education: US military still offers significant college payment and education benefits in 2026. These include programs for active-duty service members, veterans, reservists/Guard members, and sometimes dependents.
I enlisted in the US AirForce at 17 to do my patriot duty (maybe beat the draft) and gain access to an education. I got out of the military in 1966 and attended weekend college classes, night class and at radio classes while working full time. I graduated at 33 one of the oldest in my class. I raised a family and save 6-12% of my take home pay in an IRA. Was it easy, no way but my family and I made it work. We didn't have a $1.2K smart phone, we didn't spend on streaming services, we didn't spend on pizza deliveries because these didn't exist. We drove used cars until they were wheels up like a dead bug in the driveway.
Granted today's youth have a different set of obstacles, I bet there are 20-year-old with a story saying it is possible.
Exactly, even when FSD drives to locations I am familiar with, FSD often takes a backroad short cut I didn't know existed avoiding traffic lights and traffic and I have lived in this city for decades.
My 2,000-mile trip in August should be fun.
As a super safe driver at 81, I was always stressed out making sure I was watching all around; now I sit back relaxed and let FSD do the driving. I used to be a little anxious when my wife drove (she is an OK driver), now with FSD I am calm.
@Shirley09814518@LightOnLiberty When I lived in Upstate NY some years ago, my neighbors thought the same.
I moved out of NY in 1968 to avoid the NY taxes there so this has been going on for decades in big cities run by Democrats and sometimes Republicans.
Exactly, I had a very similar experience a number of tears ago. The cyclist was going the wrong way and they hit me or I hit them. I contacted the police, they responded and indicated they hardly ever get involved with these types of events. But they were concerned the cyclist was going to sue later, the police gave the cyclist a ticket faulting them for going the wrong way. End of story.
@Mdouglas91320@PeterBernegger You are not alone, this is the Typical reaction of a TDS person. Democrat minds will explode when implemented.
Left leaning judges will be busy.
