Tents can be life-saving for families living in low quality makeshift tents, with the cold wind and rain. A few hundred dollars can provide some relief and protection for those families.

On December 20th, The Sameer Project set up 5 tents in the Sabereen Camp in Khan Younis. With 9% commission, the total cost was $2,170.

The start of this video is so heartwarming seeing one of our Palestinian elders enjoying a sandwich with one of our team members. The elderly in Palestine are our pillars who we respect and serve.

On January 28th, the Translating Falasteen x The Sameer Project gave out 800 fino sandwiches that have chicken and corn to Amana Camp in Khan Younis, South of the Gaza Strip. The sandwiches made in our kitchen cost $1,458 (+9% commission).

Building the first library during the genocide

Week Six may be the busiest week. You might think it’s the most important, but for us, building and planting roots is what truly matters. This has always been the philosophy that guided our lives. This achievement and hard work are seeds planted in rock—defying pain, hardship, and every obstacle.

Among the most important accomplishments of this week: we installed all the bookshelves to hold the largest possible number of books, creating fertile ground for every seed that longs to grow freely. We also installed a projector to facilitate education for all levels, and set up a sound system so the teacher’s voice can reach every corner of the space.

Several obstacles remain, most notably the scarcity of books and the high cost of paper, which makes printing extremely difficult.

We kindly ask everyone to join us by donating or sharing the campaign, so we can purchase and print as many books as possible.

Nagham (@nghmn31862), a 16-year-old girl from Gaza, is one of countless young children who, instead of doing the things kids her age should do, spends hours upon hours on social media pleading for people far more fortunate than her - people not enduring a genocide - to support her survival and that of her younger siblings.

She has little success with this; donations trickle in with weeks (or even longer) in between, and even then, the amounts are small.

A thing im seeing being pushed alot is that “you have the right to refuse a search of your car” by police. You do, you can say that. But the cops WILL search your car, bcuz they dont give a fuck. Stating you have rights will not stop them exerting their monopoly on violence. 1/🧵
