GOOD CONTENT IS NEVER ENOUGH FOR SALES
IT NEEDS TO SPARK THE RIGHT EMOTION
When it comes to using content to sell, convince, dominate, inspire, and outshine your competitors, it’s about creating the real feeling behind what your product solves and why it matters.
Who are you? Why are you building this? Who are you becoming while building it? What ambition is driving you? What challenges are shaping the journey? How do you differ from your competitors?
Content made for sales is not just something we publish to get likes, impressions or engagement.
Imagine building something from a small room.
It starts as a small idea, then the idea grows till you start feeling unstoppable.
But somewhere in the world, there is someone who needs to understand what you're building.
Someone who could support it, buy it, invest in it, or simply just believe in it and share it to others
The kind of content made for that kind of person is what's called sales content, and it isn't just the type of content created with just AI prompt or idea.
It's the type of content where every video, every demo, every graphic, and every piece of copy is created to make the buyer think instantly, "This is for me."
Years ago, I edited YouTube vlogs for a living.
I loved storytelling. Loved the small decisions that could completely change how a moment felt to the audience.
One of the creative people whose work inspired me was Hayden Hillier-Smith. What stood out to me was how he added personal touch to every story he's written.
The beauty of a story is not just the story itself.
It's how the story is told. And how it makes people feel
For example:
"We're building a billion-dollar startup."
Sounds ambitious and common.
But compare that with this:
"Watch us build the most ambitious intelligence company right here from the city of Texas. Introducing......"
The second one creates a picture.
It gives people something to follow.
That is what great companies like lovable, canva, and @Migma_AI understands
Products matter. Features matter.
But the content around each feature and updates determines whether people understand and why they should care.
AI can give you content ideas.
But AI cannot automatically know which parts of your journey matter most to your buyer and which content drives the right feeling
Human beings feel before they decide.
We feel before we buy, before we trust, before we support. We even feel before we share.
If your content sparks nothing, then it becomes another piece of content competing for attention against the algorithm.
And eventually, the algorithm always wins against these type of contents
But here's the honest part most founders skip:
Building something great is only the first step. At some point when the story no longer feels clear.
Some founders say "I've already come too far."
So they keep going, posting AI contents/ideas, hoping one day the buyer will take them serious.
A long way down the wrong road doesn't make the road right.
It just makes you tired and feel frustrated. And it hurts your impression and buyer feeling.
Sometimes you don't need another idea. You need a better content with a better story
Who are you? Who did you build this for? What problem made you care enough to start? What
did you feel before anyone else believed in it? What do you want people to feel when they
discover it?
The best content that sells is content that creates enough emotion for the buyer to instantly realise, “This is for me.”
