@TheBluePrintUM Michigan looked like the better team, but made critical mistakes at critical times. Bryce and the offense looked excellent. Defense was strong against the run but got little organic pass rush against good Iowa OL. Team has potential to be very good
@rich_toad@firesidealpha If you are a capital allocator, it can show you where the returns are improving vs degrading as a result of those strategic decisions ... Model layer, cloud layer, hardware layer, etc. MSFT has lots of capital to allocate
@MackyMcQuacky@scottlincicome That's why he included a gini coefficient chart l, which measures that inequality. And it is flat. Which is the narrative violation. Quack.
@DanRosenheck The uncomfortable truth: student outcomes are driven more by parental IQ than school funding. Smart people earn more and move to nicer areas. Their kids inherit the high IQ. Their parents also provide more support. Spending only helps at the margin and won't close the gap.

Economists: LONG HAVE I AWAITED THIS HOUR! DESTROY ME, EFFICIENCY, AND LET UTILIZATION-ADJUSTED TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY RISE ON THE WIND OF MY ASHES!
@TheBluePrintUM B- and improving. Ball security still a problem. Making good give vs keep decisions in the run game. Doing well with simpler pass game reads and looked sharp today. Defenses respecting his run game but not his pass game yet. Next week a big test.
@chris_j_paxton Almost has it right ... "When I am big and you are old ... " Yes you might buckle me in the car or give me a bath, or feed me! I hope not, but that's what we do for our aging parents
@TradexWhisperer The actual claim is "growth in ... demand is past its peak" not that demand has peaked. Their contention is that the growth rate is slowing. This is a common way to analyze revenue and earnings ... are they accelerating or not? It's not about the level.
Someone on my street puts out light, nonsensical lawn signs. Replaces them every few weeks. I assume heโs mocking lawn sign people and if so, I need to meet him.
Problem: high schools graduate students who lack basic reading and math skills
Solution: require students to demonstrate basic proficiency before graduating or advancing
Problem: parents, schools and politicians don't like resulting increase in students held back or not graduating
Solution: state ends proficiency testing for graduation and promotion
Problem: high schools graduate students who lack basic reading and math skills
Parents really want their children to go to the best schools, with the best students as peers. But does it actually matter? In New York and Boston, students who just miss the cutoff to go to exam schools perform no worse than they would have been expected to. 1/
