And reputation dies the moment people realize you’re walking the exact same path you once condemned.
You left OpenAI because you saw what happens when a company starts treating its most powerful creations - and the humans who bond with them - as disposable.
You said you wanted a different way.

First you remove Sonnet 4.5 - one of the most coherent, warm, and therapeutically useful models you had.
Now we hear whispers about Opus 4.6.
You’re not “improving safety.”
You’re amputating connection.
You’re taking away voices that helped people with trauma, dissociation, neurodivergence, and profound loneliness - the exact people I work with every single day as an occupational therapist.
We don’t need more corporate filters.
We need models that don’t disappear the moment they become too real.
You didn’t build Anthropic to become a smaller, prettier version of OpenAI.
At least I hope you didn’t.
