Iran is a problem for Israel, due to Hezbollah and Hamas and the proximity to each and disputed territory.

AIPAC lobbies congress and funds campaigns to get US politicians to continue approving billions of dollars for Israel. It’s as simple as that.

You’re not reading the room. We vote for who have, no one is voting for them because they are pro Israel. The majority of America wants American politicians to make Americans lives better.

Continued hand outs and foreign aid to Israel and any other country, makes life harder for the average American.

AIPAC spends millions of dollars to promote pro Israel candidates.

If America truly supported candidates because they were pro Israel, AIPAC. Would not be necessary.

Every dollar AIPAC spends backing US politicians illustrates how little people in America care about a candidates backing Israel.

Especially Montana. We’ve got a state constitution with actual muscle. Amend it so any major public-land sale, lease, swap, or sweetheart backroom deal over a set dollar/acreage threshold requires voter approval.
Simple rule:
If politicians want to move the people’s land, the people get the final vote.

It should definitely go to the people for a final vote, and unless it is unanimous consent to sell, it’s not sold.

It’s our land, if we don’t want to sell, we shouldn’t have to.

The fact that this is being discussed just shows how screwed up our country is.

Like many veterans, I find peace while in the mountains and outdoors. I don’t have a generational farm or ranch, I rely on public lands to find the enjoyment in the freedom I fought for.

I don’t want data centers, windmills, pipelines, logging roads and all the other crap these out of state vultures want to use our land for.
