We (CRIMP) are a project of the Centre for Critical Realism. We want to know who in the world uses CR philosophy, what they do with it and who with. Tweet us!
@AcademicChatter We can't normalise any of these things without the structural conditions that make them possible - decent pay, employing more staff, spreading workloads more equitably, reducing hours, etc.
In academia we need to..
normalize rest
normalize self-care
normalize mental health care
normalize taking breaks
normalize struggle and rejection
normalize diversity
normalize not being machines
normalize emotion
normalize being human.
This was a great talk would be interesting and relevant for those from a critical realist background too @RealistCref@RealistProject
