@Medievalists those little dogs at the feet of noblewomen on tomb effigies always get me. wonder how many were actual pets and not just a loyalty symbol
@emollick generating the events is the cheap part. deciding which one is worth retelling is where it gets stuck, and I doubt that's just a prompt problem
@xathrodox86 no armour and stone axes, and they still charge dwarfs in full plate. the warpaint doing all the defensive work is my favourite bit of their lore
@Samwise7RPG the worst part is deciding where one skill ends and the next starts. is riding its own skill or part of animal handling? never get that one right lol
@Xanares 7 soldiers dead for 1 outlaw, rough week for Esgyth. does a loss like that actually cost a bannerlord anything in your sim? we're building a medieval one too
@emollick 2.02x for statistics vs 1.35x for the arts makes sense, so much of stats work is already code. wonder how much of the saved time turns into more studies vs the same number done faster
@dlwiest what worked for me was ignoring most of the menus at first. start as a small count, just focus on the neighbor next to you, and look the rest up when it actually comes up
@MedievalScholar the pigs bit is a big deal. pannage meant turning them loose in the woods on acorns each autumn, and a fat pig by november was a lot of a family's winter meat
@cimerians parkinson always painted the moment right before something happens. same with his everquest box art, you'd stare at it wondering where the fight goes next
