A collection and awareness campaign was conducted in KLS Gogte Institute of Technology on 23/12/2023.

Students participated with great vigor to make this campaign a success. NSS, Green club and Indian Red Cross Society- KLS GIT chapter were also instrumental in this campaign.

Mr. Ajay Singh from Dharwad is our latest #warrioragainstwaste He helped us by spreading the word about our initiative in his neighborhood. He is a cycling enthusiast & has covered 600kms within 40 hours twice. Samaritans such as him will help us in making the twin cities clean.

A small article covering the recently concluded E-waste collection and awareness campaign in Hospet. The response we received from the good citizens of Hospet was overwhelming.

The event was also supported by Kirloskar Ferrous, Priyadarshini Hotels among other environmentally conscious individuals and entities from Hospet. Various people and entities have expressed their interest in conducting awareness and collection drives in the near future.

Vijayanagara Distric Chamber of COmmerce and Industry, Vasundhara Kirloskar, Rotary Club Hampi Pearls had organized a 15 day E-waste collection awareness campaign. It was attended by dignitaries and students of various schools and colleges from Hospet.

On the 6th International E-waste day, we are starting our collection and awareness drive in Vijayanagar district.
The event would start from 14th Oct till 31st Oct.
The E-waste collected will be forwarded to CPCB authorized recyclers.
