@AvonandsomerRob Installed 4kW in 2012, paid for itself in around 8 years though the blurb predicted 5.
Added battery in 2022 and went with Octopus Go for cheap off peak charging.
Sensible to include battery storage now.
Would recommend if conditions are right.

@OssianLore There is loads of disused railway tunnels all over Greenock. Used to be a rite of passage to explore them as a kid. Terrifying, dark, smelly and dangerous. Couldn’t believe it when we emerged at the Ocean Terminal from going in near the crematorium…

@norwichgiant This is my stomping ground. I’ve covered these roads in many cars, from Novas to RS4s, by and large I still feel my old S16 was the best car to take them on!
Slightly jealous of your trip and sad I won’t see you pass by my house as I am working abroad!

@OctopusEnergy @glastonbury So you can erect a turbine and hook it up for Glastonbury but you’ve not been able to install a smart meter for me in not so rural Scotland, but you’ve made an appointment without consulting me that I couldn’t make 🤦‍♂️
Should I to go back to Ombudsman?

@OctopusEnergy Could you just install my smart meter please? I’ve been asking since February, I’ve now got a customer happiness consultant to deal with the ombudsman complaint, but I doubt they’ll fit the meter. Meanwhile there’s engineers the area fitting others.

Exactly the opposite of what you claim to be going to @BBCWatchdog next…

@OctopusEnergy you are telling me I am priority for smart meter install but Highlands and Islands need special planning, yet there are engineers in the village doing only one job a day.
What’s going on?
Is it because I won’t change my FiT to you?

@myenergiuk as much as this is great, it’d be even better if the battery was charging instead of exporting surplus solar - I’ve got the car as priority but can’t assign any priority to battery, any advice? Battery is Tesla PW2 btw…
