On Sunday, I continued my lesson with my mom on how to online shop. I had her practice how to shop for sizes, different colours, how to use the filters to narrow her search as well as how to place the order. #letsteachadults @YEPeducation

After the self evaluation last week my mom listed a few things she wanted to learn and one of them was how to online shop! So this weeks lesson was learning just that! It was a great week to do so as there were many early Black Friday sales! @YEPeducation #letsteachadults

Before we started our lesson today I asked my mom to fill out this quick self assessment so I could get an idea of what she needs more clarification on. @YEPeducation #letsteachadults

After the self assessment I asked my mom to use the question matrix to come with some questions which she later answered them by showing me and explaining the process. It was a great way to review what we have done so far! @YEPeducation #letsteachadults

I had my mom go through the list and adjust settings so only her friends could see what she posts, like and comment on her profile as well as view her stories. And since we had some time left I later showed her how to change her profile picture! #letsteachadults @YEPeducation

@MsS_edu @YEPeducation Yes, I totally agree. My mom never grew up with social media and was never taught about why it is so important to protect your identity and control who can view your profile and who cannot.

@nikkinuggets @YEPeducation I remember when I had to teach my dad how to use the online banking mobile app. He also found it hard to make transfers and bill payments and needed some help the first few times! Your next lesson sounds like fun!
