For today’s lesson, I got my Nonna to follow the instructions on her own, and send an email to me without my help! Big, big steps for her and I am so proud. Here’s a snippet of my documentation of it! @YEPeducation #letsteachadults 😌

@AlexisOTAP2020 @YEPeducation She was just a little confused in navigating! But we spent a great chunk of time to navigating Gmail and what to click!

This week, Nonna is learning to customize her gmail account, by adding in her information, and adjust her settings so it is easy to read the important emails first! (I.E, her PSW, my father, or her relatives)
We also practiced emailing for 1 hr!

@HannsOnLearning @YEPeducation Most definitely! She was very hesitant about it, but I told her it’s just for emergencies if she cannot get a hold of someone over the phone, since she knows how to type already it made that part easier!

Today, my nonna worked on sending her first email! We also did a quick questionnaire while we were working together! *concept- verb- concept*

@ReemaSh1000 @YEPeducation That’s definitely a good idea! I think for my next lesson I’m going to dedicate the time for practicing emails. And LOL, I’ll have to warn her about these emails so she doesn’t get confused!

@danielabasciano @YEPeducation She logged in using the steps I created and I was by her side instructing her where to go and want to do. The tricky part was the mouse mad on the lap top haha.

Today my Nonna worked on creating her email address and getting onto google to create her account! Also, we did a self assessment today as well!
