@richardtrinder1 I'm guessing after the few years the sin bin has been used , The FA have found that it hasn't had the desired impact, so the yellow card ,fine have been reintroduced to a dissent offence aswell as the 10 minute sin bin.
Some teams will learn the hard way.
@why_ref Because most of the time it's not passion its the controversial aspect that fires them up.
Fans don't Want to know the referee was correct in law, they want the controversy of being able to have the banter about a decision in the pub with the lads all night .
@AS_Northbank@HACKETTREF You won't find it in the rules. As football doesn't have rules.
And all football up to tier 4 in England now has sin bin 10 minutes in 90 minute games , and 8 minutes in all games below 90 .
Keep up.
@AS_Northbank@HACKETTREF It's written in the laws of the game , or ( rules) as ignorant football fans seem to think there called, and also the laws of the game aren't English they are written by IFAB .
If more fans , players and managers actually read the LOTG it would make the game so much better.
@collettdan25@MrPaulPashley There isn't a referee in the world that would give offside if the player Never moved out of his own half , the assistant referee (liner) would never give that, he must have been over the halfway line and travelled back , its the only way that offside in your own half can be given
@collettdan25@MrPaulPashley You can now be offside in your own half, just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it's not correct.
If a player standing in an offside position runs back into his own half to play the ball, he is offside where he tou he's the ball, that can now be in his own half.
@moscowowls @MrPaulPashley You can be offside in your own half now.
If a player stands in an offside position and then runs back I to their own. Half to touch the or play the ball , the offside is from where the ball is touched, that can be in your own half
@DeanBRM88@radical_referee@pwgray@Turton_FC You can now be offside in your own half , BUT you must have been in an offside position when the ball was played and then return to your own half to either touch or challenge for the ball.
@RTUCK3R@refsupportuk That's a joke , try cautioning someone for doing 3 keepy uppies during a game and wait for the explosion.
I've never heard so much tripe.
@CEO4TAG@ManCity It is an offence to try and stop a goal keeper releasing the ball, the player clearly puts his foot across the keeper , therefore goal disallowed.
