Wood:1. Sequesters carbon in forests. 2. Stores carbon in harvested wood. 3. Substitutes for carbon intensive materials such as steel, concrete and plastics. 4. Drives Sustainable forest mgmt leading to greater growth. 5. Contributes to a Circular economy as it can be recycled.

A persistent climate worry about mid latitude reforestation - reduced albedo - is put to bed.

New study in @PNASNews showing how forests seed cloud formation & *increase* albedo sufficiently enough that climate benefits of reforestation are clear.

While at the same time ignoring carbon.

There are ways for carbon capture and logging to work together. This isn’t it.

If you aren't in the forestry space, you might not understand how critical forests are to the water you drink.

It's why @RenewWestLLC does its work: our shared future depends upon dealing with climate and restoring forests.

Pyrocumulonimbus from the #MuddySlideFire_CO. Not good.

I’m in Yampa, Colorado, where the #MuddySlideFire looks to be absolutely exploding this evening.
