Thanks to the leadership of @JoshShapiroPA, @PaHouseDems and everyone who said 'NO TO PECO!' we stopped the rate hikes which otherwise would have impacted more than 1 million families in our region!

My office and I are working with other members of the Philadelphia House Delegation to ask area utility providers to consider a delay in requiring customer payments in the absence of the LIHEAP program due to the federal shutdown.
Today, our delegation sent a letter to Philadelphia-area utility providers and to the PUC encouraging them to pause service shutoffs for non-payment until LIHEAP reopens. Read the letters and more on our website https://t.co/ycGuBRzb4a (1/2)

Background checks keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Thanks to legal loopholes, criminals in PA still have an easy way to get guns. With bipartisan support, @PaHouseDems passed a bill to close those loopholes:

Today we remember everyone, from the mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, workers, pilots, crew, and first responders who died in the September 11th attacks 24 years ago.
I was honored to visit the Flight 93 Memorial which stands as a testament to the brave actions of those on board who prevented another attack. May their memories never be forgotten.
The good work being done at Dobbins is proof that investment in education can lead to economic development and better outcomes for kids in our community!

Take some time to let @PASenateGOP know how this crisis is going to affect your commute, your family, and your community. You deserve a serious solution for a sustainable future for #SEPTA and that's what we're fighting for.
2026 is huge for PA: big events bringing millions to shop, eat & party.
The transit network needed to get people to/from events quickly & safely? Republicans won’t fund it, putting billions in economic impact at risk.
