Listen folks, it's simple, voters should choose their politicians, not the other way around.
My FAIR MAPS Act would level the playing field and make every election a fair fight.
The Children of Wartime Veterans Scholarship portal is now OPEN for Fall 2026. The portal will remain open through June 8, 2026, so awards can be announced before classes begin in August.

FYI! 🚨 We'll be closing this account once my term in the House is up at the end of this year. But you can continue getting updates from Washington from a great Congresswoman for North Carolina's Triangle area > please go follow Congresswoman @ValerieFoushee to stay in the know!
Thank you to my family, my colleagues, my staff, and most importantly to the people of North Carolina for the opportunity to be your voice in Congress.
As you may know, my term in the US House and this social account will be winding down at the end of the year. If you'd like to stay in the know about what's happening in Congress, please follow @RepDeborahRoss, who's delivering great results for the people of Wake County.
Today, I had the chance to speak with my colleague @USRepMikeFlood at the @BlockchainAssn Summit. Building bipartisan consensus on the future of digital innovation is critical for moving us into the future.
Because of partisan gerrymandering by NC Republicans, that work is cut short. But I’m proud of what we were able to do in such a short time.
Thanks to everyone who has been a part of that work, and showed up last night to commemorate it.
Last night, my office hosted an event to celebrate the partnership of this community through this term.
We accomplished a lot. And I’m grateful to my team of excellent staff on the ground every day in service of NC13.

We introduced and pushed dozens of bills that would solve those problems. We worked across the aisle to do it, and got Republicans and Democrats on board.
#NCGA Republicans are pushing an extreme power grab in SB382 for one reason: they’re upset about the election results.
You can’t change the rules just when you lose.
And you definitely can’t do it under the guise of “disaster relief”… only giving 6% of what’s needed.

As many of you know, my term in Congress is up on Jan 2.
While I won’t be coming back to the House next term, I’m not giving up on all the work left to do.
This account will be closing when my term does, but I’ll still post updates on my other accounts!
🚨 @CFPB is returning over $53 million in illegal junk fees to NC consumers, part of $1.8 billion going to 4.3M Americans harmed by illegal credit repair scams.
My bipartisan bill, the Ending Scam Credit Repair Act, would make it even harder for scammers to get away with this.
Today is not the day to stop talking about North Carolina gerrymandering in Congress.
We can fix this problem. We need to pass the Fair Maps Act.

At yesterday’s @FinancialCmte hearing I asked @nathanmccauley about tech innovators being locked out of the financial system by the US government.
This is unacceptable. For the US to be the global tech and finance leader, we must work in a bipartisan way to end debanking.
