It's #WorldMalariaDay2022. Malaria is preventable and treatable. In 2020 there were 241 million cases, 95% of these were in the WHO Africa region and 2/3 of related deaths were located in the area. The £1.8 billion UK investment in the @globalfund vital in curbing such stats.
