I have waited years for someone to challenge this nonsense phrase on mainstream media. An indictment of the liberal PEP media that it took Tucker Carlson to do it. And he undeniably did it well.
They lied and said Iran had nukes or were close to having nukes.
And of course Iran didn’t which is why the US and Israel were able to bomb Iran so easily today.
You know who does have nukes? North Korea. And the US will never dare attack Kim.
This is a recipe for more nukes.
We are doing this. Our governments. Our taxes. Our arms sales.
This is our Holocaust. Our Cambodian killing fields. Our Balkans. Our Rwandan genocide.
We are doing this and history will never forgive us.
Gaza:
You say Palestine never had a "continuous, independent nation-state" like Vietnam.
But tell me, how many colonized nations ever did?
Did Ireland, when the British called it a territory of the Crown?
Did Algeria, under French occupation and massacre?
Did Indonesia, when the Dutch colonized it for 300 years?
Did Kenya, under British detention camps and torture?
Did Congo, when it was the personal property of a European king?
Did Zimbabwe, when it was renamed Rhodesia and declared white?
Did South Africa, when apartheid declared Black people stateless on their own land?
By your logic, no indigenous people ever deserve liberation unless they kept a flag, a capital, and a ministry of foreign affairs, even while being bombed and exiled.
Vietnam didn’t win because we had a passport.
We won because we had memory.
A memory older than any empire.
A memory they tried to erase, rename, divide and bury.
Just like what’s being done to the Palestinians.
You call Palestine "a historically contested region."
That’s what they called us too.
That’s what they call every place colonizers want to claim.
But a place isn’t "contested" because people live there.
It’s contested because someone else wants to take it.
Palestine was never empty. It was emptied.
And no amount of imperial paperwork, UN resolutions, or semantic games can erase that truth.
So let me ask you.
Were they not a people when they farmed their land?
Were they not a nation when they paid Ottoman taxes under the name "Filastin"?
Were they not indigenous when their cities, dialects, and cemeteries predated the Balfour Declaration by centuries?
Your argument isn’t historical. It’s imperial.
It sets a standard no colonized people could ever meet.
And then punishes them for failing to meet it.
Palestinians don’t need to mimic Vietnam to justify their freedom.
They need only exist.
And that is precisely what settler colonialism cannot tolerate.
Vietnam was told it didn’t exist either.
We were told we were just "Annamites," "Indochinese," "territories" on someone else’s map.
No flag. No embassy. No seat at the table.
Until we proved otherwise.
So don’t confuse erasure with absence.
And don’t mistake stolen sovereignty for lack of nationhood.
The land remembers.
And so do the people.
Israeli has set fire to Taybeh — a 10,000-year-old village in Ramallah, Palestine.
A place where Jesus once walked.
Home to the world’s oldest living Christian community.
And not a peep from Western mainstream media.
@Acyn It is so amazing that we do more to argue for defending the right of people to live in excess than we do to argue for the right of people to not live in need.
This is some serious female emotional manipulation, right here.
The fact is, Elica challenged me to a debate, she proceeded to present the weakest imaginable arguments that we’ve all heard a million times and they got smacked down (once again).
She interrupted incessantly and she was the one who devolved into shouting insults, not me.
Now she wants to play the victim, which is particularly disgusting given the topic. The children on Gaza are the victims here, not you. I was not there to be educated by you, I was there to oppose your blood soaked propaganda.
