@AbuAsimHanbali Brother, be honest wich ashari today will say that Allah is above the throne? They will say he is wujood billa makan. The asharis of alle ages say the quran we recite is created (wich is kufr according to the salaf)
@AbuAsimHanbali The ashaaira creed in general contains kufr denying that Allah is above his throne is kufr, say the quran that we recite is created is kufr. What do you mean by ‘not necessarily’ .
Shaykh ʿAbdullāh Al-Ghunaymān said:
Now, among the problems that people are facing today is that there are students of knowledge and shaykhs who say that if a mushrik performs ṭawāf around a grave, and worships the occupant of the grave, but is ignorant, then we do not call him a mushrik.
Rather, we call him a Muslim. And they say: his action is shirk, but he himself is not a mushrik. This is a strange matter. They say: his action is shirk, yet he is not a mushrik; rather, he is a Muslim. And if he dies upon that, he is in Paradise, because he is excused, excused in his ṭawāf around the grave and in his ʿibādah of it.
This is what the shaykh says: that this is something not known among the earlier generations nor the later ones. It is something uttered only by ignorant scholars, may Allāh grant safety. Meaning: ignorance has taken firm hold in their hearts, and they have become people who do not accept the truth. They argue about such matters.
Then regarding someone like this: does the statement of the shaykh apply to him, his saying, “Whoever does not takfīr the kāfir is himself a kāfir”? Because this is shirk and kufr against Allāh, exalted and majestic, and yet he did not takfīr him; rather, he judged him to be a Muslim.
Meaning: as for people like these, the existence of doubts must be removed before judging them to be kuffar. But we say: this is ignorance, ignorance that no one preceded them in. If a mushrik falls into shirk, then he is a mushrik. Shirk does not exist independently such that the action is called shirk while its doer is called a Muslim. A person is held accountable for what he does.
Jeet: "Islam is cancer."
White Christian teenager: "I think you're cancer. You're literally Indian. You should get deported."
Literally, people of all religions hate Hindus for the scum some of them are.
I thought the khawarij were those who claimed major sins and kufr duna kufr are instantly major kufr, or rebelled against sinful Muslim rulers who still uphold Islam, not those who were against the tatar and their equivalent banning clearcut obligations of the Quran
The eminent Hanbali scholar, Shaykh Ibn ’Aqil (d. 2011), spoke highly of the following scholars and cited their Fatawa in support of his position:
— Shaykh ’Abd al-Rahman al-Barrak
— Shaykh ’Abd Allah al-Sa’d
— Shaykh ’Abd al-’Aziz al-Tarifi
Where is Allah? — Imām Ibn Qutaybah al-Dīnawarī (d. 276 AH)
Ibn Qutaybah states:
“All nations, Arabs and non-Arabs alike, say that Allah, Exalted is He, is in heavens, so long as they remain upon their natural disposition and have not been taught otherwise.”
He then cited the ḥadīth of the slave-girl as evidence:
“In the ḥadīth, a man brought a non-Arab slave-girl to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to free her. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked her: ‘Where is Allah, Exalted is He?’ She replied: ‘In heaven.’”
