Fractional CTO/CPO & Systems Architect. Bridging the gap between executive strategy and technical reality. Principal @nervstrategy.
No hype, just execution.
I replace operational bottlenecks with engineered scalability.

New codebases are seductive. Adding features is effortless, regression risk is near zero, and maintenance is a myth.
But when a platform scales, the honeymoon ends. Unchecked AI feature generation is turning modern codebases from business assets into systemic liabilities.
The solution isn't to ban AI, it's to fix the translation layer.
The modern developer must move from a manual technician to a systems theorist. If your team cannot articulate *why* a system architecture functions, no amount of prompt engineering will save you.
What I like about this approach is that's it's inherently assistive. Compared to enterprise AI platforms that try to replace the entire SOP.
Which means it doesn't replace humans and allows for organisations to maximise humans and stay as fast & _flexible_ as possible.
This is a new paradigm for interacting with Claude that is significantly more "inline" with all the other human activity org-wide. Once you do all of the under the hood engineering work to make this "just work" (e.g. across tools, integrations, compute environments, memory, security, etc.), Claude basically joins the team in a seamless way - you can talk to it as you would talk to a person and it can help with a very large variety of workloads.
Imo this is the 3rd major redesign of LLM UIUX. The first paradigm was that the LLM is a website you go to, the second was that it is an app you download to your computer. This third one is that it is a self-contained, persistent, asynchronous entity with org-wide tools and context, working alongside teams of humans. It really takes a while to wrap your head around it, but it works and it is awesome.
Saying software features should just be rewritten (because you can't manage your AI properly) is to say you have never seen a sufficiently complex codebase. Or worse, your product adds little value.
@robdahm FYI audio on your older 4 rotor AWD keeps getting silenced by YouTube every time there's music. Might be detecting copyright violation, it's also endlessly annoying.
What the actual F @SUBARU_CORP@Subaru_SA, privacy for what?
"Subaru, says that by being a passenger in the car, you are considered a “user” who has given the company consent to harvest information about you"

I was considering buying one, not anymore.
junior: I have no idea how to implement this 🤔
mid-level: I think I saw something like this before, should be doable 💪
senior: oh sure I have done it before but I currently have no idea how, let me just browse through these 50 side project repos and blog posts to remember 😅
@GwedeMantashe1 this could be a very viable way to change our energy sources and bring done the cost of electricity without massive capital outlay, (does create a Labour problem in the coal sector though) https://t.co/p2GBobIzQs
