I used grok to explore this a little more and it appears that those who were polled were only given one option…to raise taxes on younger adults.

Who knows how they would have answered if they were given options like cut spending on other programs, stop money from leaving the country through subsidies and remittances.

Teach us that repentance is more than feeling sorry. It is agreeing with You about our sin, confessing it honestly, and turning from it to follow You. Give us godly sorrow that produces repentance and leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10).

Lord Jesus, we confess that we have sinned in thought, word, action, and desire. Forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Where we have wandered, turn our hearts back to You. Where we have made excuses, give us humility. Where we have resisted Your Word, give us obedience.

Thank You that repentance does not drive us away from You, but brings us running toward Your mercy. Help us bear fruit in keeping with repentance and walk today in the newness of life You have given us through Christ.
