👀 ALL EYES ON FMGs

Rules changing after the game is over is not justice.

Withdraw the NMC public notice dated 6 March.

@NMC_BHARAT FMGs only want fair treatment and equal opportunities.

Policies should support young doctors, not destroy their careers.

We urge authorities to withdraw or revise this notice immediately.

Please look into this🙏

Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) are facing an extremely unfair situation due to a recent notice by the National Medical Commission

Thousands of students’ careers are at risk.

This thread explains the issue. 👇

We request the National Medical Commission:

• Reconsider this decision
• Treat us with fairness
• Protect the careers of thousands of FMGs

Students didn’t choose online classes during COVID — the Pandemic forced it.

Now the @NMC_BHARAT is trying to impose retrospective punishment on #FMGs

@DMA_India15 stands firmly against the @NMC_BHARAT notice penalising FMGs for COVID-era online classes.

@MoHFW_INDIA & @JPNadda must intervene in this matter.

The sudden notice by NMC on 5–6 March regarding FMGE students is unfair. Decisions affecting thousands of medical graduates should not be made abruptly. We too deserve equal rights #FMGE #NMC

FMGs have compensated for the online mode of education, with the same notarised by their universities and respective governments.
Final year studies were completed offline with internship at the university/college.

Study for 6 years, come back thinking you'll get a chance to serve your country, pass an exam which is no longer a screening test, and in the end you're rewarded with harsh rules and punished for things which were not in humanity's control and nobody's paying for it except you.

AIMSA urges govt to withdraw NMC notice mandating onsite training for FMGs https://t.co/bmkvgZCN5O

[Rohan Khandelwal @docrohan]

NMC continues to release new & inconsistent guidelines for FMG students—sometimes a 2-year internship, sometimes compensation for online classes. Even after clearing FMGE, internship seats remain scarce. If studying abroad is an accepted pathway, the rules must be stable!

Doctors (FMGs)who studied during the pandemic adapted to unprecedented circumstances.

They followed @NMC_BHARAT policies ,compensated for online mode of education, did final year offline and cleared FMGE.

Rewriting policies after the fact undermines fairness and trust in the system.

@official_aimsa demands fair and consistent policies for foreign medical graduates across the nation.
