@romestrach@DrPhiltill Maybe next year! This year we have seven teams competing from Australia, Chile and the USA. Eight leading space robotics companies will do robot demonstrations including a company from Germany. More info at https://t.co/foOVUvm45p!
One week to go and counting down to the inaugural https://t.co/pLQL2zTEyp festival in the California Mojave Desert!
The IEEE Telepresence competition is offering a $5,000 prize to the winner of a robot race which will feature a 700 pound wheeled robot that starred in an episode of Hawai’i Five-O.
Come out to the Mojave Desert on a day trip from Los Angeles or Las Vegas to join the fun:

@TanentzapfLab One more trick: if a problem is hitting a brick wall put it in the parking lot and come back later - sometimes it solves itself or you get a new perspective or more knowledge that unblocks it.
@DrPhiltill Congrats Phil- this was a grass roots effort that was never requested by NASA management- shows the power of individuals to make a profound difference. It could also affect future landing laws as the lunar economy develops. Hard to overstate the significance of the safety zones.
I am usually not on twitter but I am going to give it a try while at #ISRU2019 because I think it is useful as a networking and real time communications tool at conferences. Let’s see what happens....
We just finished the biennial ASCE Regolith Operations, Mobility and Robotics (ROMR) technical committee meeting, but we're still discussing the economics of space mining. @shyky88
While @NASA & lunar space fans can't agree on how to go back to the Moon @JeffBezos has decided to simply go do it himself. "Blue Origin Plans to Begin Colonizing the Moon No Later Than 2023" https://t.co/0cA85c1yib
