Ivan explains that they want solve the issue of "software sprawling".
And on average you have to use 88+ tools to run your business.
And with more AI tools popping up every day, that problem is only growing.
"We take it very personal", Ivan explained.
Hi @X, I just finished blocking roughly 100 follower bots by checking their following/follower ratio, post behavior, and account age. Back to - hopefully - 24 real people, yay! When was the last time you did a spring cleaning? #BotCleanUp#RealFollowersOnly
After almost a decade, I have made the decision to leave OpenAI. The company’s trajectory has been nothing short of miraculous, and I’m confident that OpenAI will build AGI that is both safe and beneficial under the leadership of @sama, @gdb, @miramurati and now, under the excellent research leadership of @merettm. It was an honor and a privilege to have worked together, and I will miss everyone dearly. So long, and thanks for everything. I am excited for what comes next — a project that is very personally meaningful to me about which I will share details in due time.
We're opening up access to our new flagship model, GPT-4o, and features like browse, data analysis, and memory to everyone for free (with limits). https://t.co/H2dB6w7Ynz
@Iammattaustin @OpenAI The GPT builder loves to rewrite structured and specifically crafted instructions of GPTs in the language of a third grader, too. It's behaving as if a distillation is the same as a summary.
@buzzedison@OpenAI Can't really tell. Apart from DALL-E inpainting and mentioning GPTs, it doesn't feel like it did get any better within the last couple of months. Probably even worse.
@marcosecchi@soulspawn@omunderdal@OpenAI Yup, we've been paying for ChatGPT Plus for over half a year, but the knowledge cut-off of our GPT4 is December 2023, as well. The only updates we received so far are GPTs, tagging them, and the inpainting in DALL-E. Neither memory/cross-conversations nor dynamic model picker yet
@hibbygames@HarmenJeurink@Magnific_AI That's what NVIDIA's DLSS does. In their v3.5, one out of eight pixels is calculated/rendered, and the other 7 are generated, resulting in higher resolution and giving a boost in FPS as well.
We have reached an agreement in principle for Sam Altman to return to OpenAI as CEO with a new initial board of Bret Taylor (Chair), Larry Summers, and Adam D'Angelo.
We are collaborating to figure out the details. Thank you so much for your patience through this.
