@NatWest_Help Its a savings account that could be closed online, I have no other accounts with Ulster. But the interest has not yet been applied meaning it will be in credit when it closes and this is calculated. FAQs for the account say you may need to go in branch to get these funds.

@HMRCcustomers It's not for self employment, it's because of a chargeable event due to sale of a bond. The tax due will be zero it doesn't make me a higher rate tax payer, but the amount means I need to self assess according to the certificate.
