Academics and journalists in the UK, US and Europe are increasingly interested in attacks on the National Trust and other UK institutions. Sadly the attention is warranted, and needed. Charlie is Media Professor at the LSE.
Ofcom has said that GB News can still use politicians like Jacob Rees-Mogg as presenters because there is no clear consensus from the Public that we don't want them.
Smash the RT and the Like and show them a consensus, get them off our TVs.
“Very recent visitors from Mars may not know of the regular attacks on the National Trust for being “woke” says today’s Guardian. There’s a former Prime Minister attacking the National Trust for “wokey ideology” in today’s @FT if they wish to catch up. https://t.co/UVMxwRcw3f
Repost if Sunak is far more responsible for the mess we’re in than someone whose waited years on the NHS waiting list to get the new hip or knee they need to get walking again and return to work.
Like if you’re just sick of his blame gaming and gaslighting.
It's very revealing that Laura Kuenssberg has posted just 4 tweets in the last 24 hours:
3 are about Peter Murrell (husband of Nicola Sturgeon) and a retweet of an old Liz Truss interview.
Yet absolutely nothing about Mark Menzies or the other Tory scandals.
Why @bbclaurak?
Trudi Warner could face two years in prison for simply holding a placard defending the rights of juries.

Everyone’s entitled to their view but the number of MPs and commentators now saying our institutions have been ‘captured’ when they disagree with decisions of those institutions is divisive populism and sinister. Institutions aren’t there to be used for political wedge-driving.
There have been far too many examples of political interference in our institutions in recent years - across the board, from healthcare and research bodies to media to heritage and education. I see this as a very serious problem and something we need to address to preserve democracy.
Numerous article from the BBC on Rayner…
Including one from Kuenssberg that says:
“with the police investigating, Angela Rayner is in trouble.”
Yet zero articles on Conservative Party being fined by the Electoral Commission for underreporting donations
Why is that @BBCNews?
