@Mynorthwest You are slandering the product !!!!!! You can't/don't know what the cause was. I doubt very much that it was the autopilot. Most likely, it was human error.
@Pledditor In a perfect world, I wouldn't want you and others like you to be the rulers of freedom of choice when it comes to influencers and Bitcoin use case. A market isn't made from the extreme of one side, it generally exists because of everything else.
I consider Joe Burnett to be an affinity scammer of the most damaging kind. He promotes his stock as the SoV, then he promotes his other stock as the MoE, it's basically a vampire attack on bitcoin adoption. He wants to hijack bitcoin's top-of-funnel and monetize it for himself, at the expensive of bitcoin's long term adoption.
In the short term, these influencer sell outs get rewarded with a nice fat salary by promoting all these trashy shitcos. But in the long term, this is a self-defeating strategy. If grifters like Joe succeed in draining bitcoin’s adoption, the very bitcoin they hold on their balance sheets will become worthless. Without strong network effects, there will be no meaningful fees, no robust security, and ultimately no relevance.
So here’s my advice to Joe and others running this grift (because he's not the only one): if you actually want your shitco to survive and thrive long-term, stop trying to kill the golden goose. Your stock doesn’t need your promotion. Bitcoin does. Focus on building and evangelizing the broader bitcoin ecosystem instead, and your stock will accrete far more value as a second-order beneficiary of bitcoin’s success.
A subset of the Bitcoin community has had an allergic reaction to the concept of Digital Money being used to refer to something other than Bitcoin.
I think that completely misses the point. Nothing competes with Bitcoin.
17 years into Bitcoin’s monetization, roughly 99% of the world still does not think Bitcoin is money. We’ve spent years explaining Bitcoin’s superior monetary properties, yet most people still define money as something stable, USD-denominated, and yield-bearing.
That’s where people are today.
Digital Credit and Digital Money, which is effectively a senior tranche of Digital Credit, do not replace Bitcoin. They meet the people who control the vast majority of the world’s wealth where they are today.
Over time, many of them may come to recognize Bitcoin as the superior form of money. Until then, Bitcoin remains in its monetization phase where volatility is high and its long-term trajectory is only obvious to those with a time horizon measured in years.
A senior tranche of Digital Credit that behaves like Digital Money does not compete with Bitcoin. It only accelerates hyperbitcoinization by creating a bridge between the existing financial system and Bitcoin.
@SenWarren Funded by our tax dollars?? Lady, you're out of your mind. Extrapolated to the max degree. These are private companies using open source and not paying for any patent use. You are just a meat bag of lies for attention.
Naming this attitude "TDS" is so appropriate. A sickness fostered by hate and without any critical thinking skills. Blind to a beautiful restoration, under budget and on time. I feel sorry for this woman.
Trump could paint the entire capital in rainbow colors and they would still complain.
Liberal says she is "sad" to see Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool restored by Trump…
The Blockchain Trilemma.
You can only have 2 of 3 of these foundational pillars.
Decentralization: The network distributes control across a wide range of independent computers (nodes) without relying on a central authority. Security: The system's ability to resist attacks, prevent censorship, and guarantee data integrity.Scalability: The network's capacity to handle a massive volume of transactions quickly and affordably.
@HappyPunch Too many views here to get a response but, the only thing you will accomplish is ruining a big deal for a lot of people who also brought their children for a good time that they can remember. Good for you.
@brazensquid31@komonews Your comment literally makes no sense. I understand the rampant sarcasm that is avant garde but,
aren't you the one moving closer to communism?
@beatnikdr1@GovBobFerguson@WAStateGov@wsferries That's funny, you said "RED STATE". Like politics in a blue state would be any better.
People are fleeing blue for red, it's been going on for a decade.
