Wide awake thinking about how Jalen Brunson leading the Knicks to a world championship is genuinely one of the best stories in basketball history. I hope people understand and appreciate that. It’s as pure as sports gets.

The primary national cover features Kris Jenkins hitting a game-winning three-pointer as time expired to give Villanova a 77–74 victory over North Carolina.
It was the first time an NCAA men's championship game was decided by a buzzer-beater since 1983.
The game's final 4.7 seconds are etched into sports lore due to a rapid-fire exchange of legendary plays.
The Paige Shot: Trailing by three, UNC’s Marcus Paige hit an "impossible" double-clutch, contested three-pointer with 4.7 seconds left to tie the game at 74.
The Jenkins Buzzer-Beater: Villanova did not call a timeout but instead ran a play they practiced daily called "Nova". Ryan Arcidiacono drove up court and shoveled an underhanded pass to a trailing Kris Jenkins, who drained a 25-foot three-pointer as time expired.
"Bang!": Villanova coach Jay Wright famously remained stoic as the shot fell, simply mouthing "Bang" before walking to shake hands with UNC coach Roy Williams
What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.

"Your attitude is your greatest characteristic. You don't control your intelligence, your size, or your God-given talents. What you do control, though, is your attitude.”
