This is from 2018. To increase farmer's income in Vidarbha the government had proposed exporting sheep and goats to UAE from Nagpur airport. Sakal Jain Samaj protested arguing there were other ways to increase farmer’s income without sending animals to slaughterhouses. The government eventually cancelled the initiative.
