@MrMBrown #4 is what he SAID, but if it was true then they would not have hiked. Only the most recent data points of CPI, PPI and non farm payrolls pushed them to hike. Or rather, it pushed the market to price a hike which bullied the Fed to hike (the latter part you correctly stated)
