LinkedIn saw it first, but just posting this to reintroduce myself to all the #Rust community.

Keen to connect with as many #Rustaceans as possible over the coming weeks!

Already got a bunch of exciting roles ready to go so if you’re in the market don’t hesitate to reach out!

[Ross Townsend - Ross The Rust Guy! @RossTheRustGuy]

Arrived to an absolute hive of activity in New York. Plenty of opportunities in the Rust space already for January 2025. I’d love to talk to any #Rustaceans #Rust engineers about some incredible opportunities we have in the cryptography space US wide #rustjobs #devjobs

[Ross Townsend - Ross The Rust Guy! @RossTheRustGuy]

What can you expect from me?:

- From January, I’ll be covering all things #RustLang for the USA & sharing any content that’s relevant!
- I’ll be trying to support the growth of the wonderful community of #Rustaceans however possible
- Of course, I’ll be sharing any jobs I have!

[Ross Townsend - Ross The Rust Guy! @RossTheRustGuy]

May as well take the chance to introduce myself on here! I’m Ross, and here’s a little thread about me:

- I’ve spent 6 1/2 years in software development recruitment across both the UK & Australia
- From Jan 25 I’ll be focused on #RustLang out of NYC (covering the US)

Outside of this world my key hobbies are:

- Jiu Jitsu, I train as often as I can!
- Exploring new countries and cultures
- Trying as many new foods as possible (so if any #Rust developers want to grab a bite in NYC and can recommend a spot give me a shout!)
