I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product.
I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary.
X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful.
We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.
@edankwan The Rust compiler might not be fast, but I'm pretty sure it is faster at verifying no memory bugs than an AI loop of "keep looking until you find a memory bug". Also cheaper.
Is search on @Spotify completely broken? I search for stairway to heaven and it shows me stairway by led zep (good!) but also Kashmir, dream on (Aerosmith), and other completely unrelated things. Meanwhile the rodrigo y gabriela cover nowhere to be found. 🤦♂️
Wow! Once again @bcantrill knocks it out of the park with a talk at @rust_nyc about Rust in the LLM age and how Rust’s infrastructure and dedication to robust abstraction makes it so enticing for coding with LLMs. Brilliant!
Rust NYC with @bcantrill is live, we just announced our UnConf to over 250 engineers, and there’s so many people here I can’t fit them all in a photo from any angle. Great night!
Somehow persuaded @bcantrill to fly out for Rust NYC last night, and it was one of the best meet-ups we’ve ever held. I’ll be posting the talk early next week, make sure you watch it! Probs to Bryan for generally just being an awesome guy too
