The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of eight Nigerians during an intelligence-led anti-narcotics operation at Okaishie Drug Lane in Accra on 9th October, 2026.

The operation targeted the suspected sale and distribution of narcotics and unregulated pharmaceutical products.

Items retrieved included suspected Tramadol, Rohypnol, codeine-containing products, Benyling and other pharmaceutical substances. The suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.
