There's a reason they're so cheap. If you buy one, you'll need to keep at least another $5k set aside for repairs at all times. Reliability is horrible. Mine "bricked" 3 times. Twice due to air suspension issues and again b/c of a sunroof leak that ruined the wiring in the front pillar. Off road capability is great, especially for an SUV. But there's no reason to subject yourself to this kind of torture. You'll always be wondering what's going to break next, and how much it's going to cost. Particularly when you're 25 miles from the nearest paved road.
@dailydirtnap For this reason I learned never to post anything for free on Craigslist etc. No charge when they show up to buy it. Avoids a lot of nonsense.
@mhp_guy Yet there's a mystery. Despite hearing a 100 reasons why, I've never heard a plausible explanation as to why truck campers are such a terrible value relative to pull-behinds. No tires, no axles, no undercarriage, much smaller, yet massively more $ per sq.ft.
@johnrush Absolutely. I built an app for my own use to address exactly that. Claude got to be a bit of an ahole as time went on. Maybe it's time to revive it with a better prompt or different model
@MrMatt549@honestpollster Capitalism ended when the government bailed-out Penn Central railroad in the early 70's. So many people have never known the US as a capitalist country. Corporatism has grown exponentially since.
@ethanhays@AbudBakri@DrCamRx Incredible how fast 1/2 tsp can change your pH. Only valid as an absolute measure 1st thing in the AM

@KobeissiLetter You know his next step will be to sell Silver early access, Gold early access, Platinum early access, Platinum+ early access....don't you?
@honestpollster Meanwhile, he's selling early access to his Truth Social posts. No matter who you vote for, you get the love child of John McCain and Willie Sutton.
@JacobCanfield Likely true in general. A sub-segment may sharpen their thinking skills by encorporating AI into their problem solving, rather than consuming its slop. Society could bifurcate along those lines.
@calvinfroedge Funny story. A few US companies sell a fabricated form of a certain metal - sheet, rod, bar, etc. Trump applies a 50% tariff on those products. US companies all raise their prices to match the imported material. US customers now pay 50% more, only b/c of Trump. Have a nice day.
@pierre_KoryMD I experimented with structured H2O that contained 02 stabilized in solution with Na+. Test was to find the max rotation of my upper torso when standing before/after consuming. Gained ~20 deg. range of motion. Vertical jump improved 3". The effect was temporary, but shocking.
@HLPClips Watch Senior Games 65+ sprints. Inability to raise the knee on the forward stride. Higher age, more visible. Highest knees often wins. https://t.co/Pie3IKzkaP
@ChelmsDeep@honestpollster Yes, and America ceased to be a capitalist country when the government bailed out Penn Central Railroad in 1970. Capitalism died that day and corporatism was born.
@wayofftheres At one point in my life I drove a 72 Custom Cruiser that I bought for $400. 5,000 lbs minus rust holes. 455 engine. Calm shell tailgate. Absolute beast.
