I think Elon gets a lot of hate because he disrupts many giant industries at the same:

- petroleum industry with Tesla
- cars with Tesla
- aerospace with SpaceX
- energy with Tesla Energy
- telecom with Starlink
- transport with The Boring Company
- manufacturing with Gigafactories
- robotics with Tesla
- social media with X
- AI with xAI

Together these industries have a market size of over $60 trillion

That's a lot of money and people whose livelihoods depend on it who are threatened by his products

Which is a big incentive to make him look bad hoping that it'll make people stop buying his products

But as you see it doesn't, because people generally really love his products

It doesn't help he's the only rich billionaire who doesn't like to talk like a corporate drone, but instead opens up making him very vulnerable to be attacked

In fact Elon tweeting honest in all its imperfection (who is perfect?) has made other billionaires do the same, see Zuck and even Bezos going on podcasts now

Ten years ago we only had Bill Gates sitting in his overproduced home studio sitting with blurry background talking like a drone, but now we have billionaires speaking about their lives openly
