@littleapostate First birth was a pandemic baby and visitors weren’t allowed in, we loveddddd it and kept that rule for the next three. “Can’t wait for her to meet you when we’re settled!”
always gonna be exceptions, but the least neurotic mothers i know have helpful husbands that are looking out for them.
the most neurotic mothers i know have a husband who, at best, says "everything is going to be fine, chill out" while doing nothing helpful.
I just love my role as dispenser of resources!
YOU get blueberries!
YOU get this beautiful pair of thrifted shoes that are practically new!
YOU get pizza!
YOU get read to in a cosy wingback!
YOU get a nursing session until you’re milk drunk!
Co-fertility programs (where u donate half ur eggs in exchange for keeping half for free) make me think of those fairy tales where a couple makes an egregious deal w a witch so they can get a baby
@MrsCMFrancis@bethanyshondark Would agree that’s the reason they’re turning out that way, but I wouldn’t say the parent is a bad person. ( re: The kid is a a jerk bc the parent is a jerk etc)
