Pro Rep would fix this. Last election, because of FPTP, the NDP ran their entire campaign focused only around a dozen "swing" districts in Metro Vancouver. Quite the opposite. Support for Pro Rep is split all around the province. It's FPTP that exacerbates regional differences. With Pro Rep, governments will always be formed with MLA's from across the province unlike now.

Everybody has one vote they can put towards the election of a candidate, within a district electing multiple people. Automatically that means more proportional outcomes, and STV's proportionality scales with the # of seats.
