People see it as an us vs them situation. Taxing business owners, the wealthy, and celebrities isn’t an us thing…. Until it becomes one that is.
“a survey by the Association of Washington Business that said one in four people are considering moving their business out of the state.”

@CoachSwit@CS_Pxp There are giant private schools who dominate and there are tiny public schools who dominate. Things are all over the place. WA will force private schools to play up a classification soon. It’ll probably hurt the smaller private schools more than the larger ones.
@grok there isn't a certificate here like you gave Sierra. and you need to read my posts to award the certificate for me being me and not what the bio says...
@_mcameron44 Mike. I’ve stayed at a holiday inn express dozens of times. I’m nearly an expert on everything. But thank goodness they didn’t tap me in for this one as it’s complicated.
We’re proud to announce our baseball program is the 1A Academic State Champions! Great job to all of our kids for all their hard work on and off the field.
@TridentTrue no cap proposed... probably dead on arrival...
This is where both sides need to actually work together to address the issues at hand. Players simply wanting more isn't going to resolve this at all.
The reason travel ball is out of hand is because rec leagues are either completely non existent or the quality has gotten so bad the people want other options. Baseball is expensive. $225 for field rentals. $160 for umpires. 25 games costs $9K and you hope your opponents will cover costs. Practices are $225 per and you want do develop? That’s $675 a week. A 20 week season costs close to $24K and we haven’t addressed insurance nor a coaches salary. A roster of 12 and we are well on our way to over $2K per player.
Some call it greed. There is that. But let’s be honest. It’s expensive. Very expensive.
And this hits so hard. Particularly when you know their history. Will never forget the DJD episode (https://t.co/B9WPc0KT6i) where Kyle showed up with beer and donuts. If you haven’t listened to this, it is one of @DirtyMoMedia’s best.
WOW. I'm shook. This is crazy. So incredibly young with a wife and 2 children. Thinking of all the folks in the garage who are going to be impacted by this as well as his family.
We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
@CoachSwit WA state is supposedly about to pass a classification ruling that private schools must play in a class higher than their school size. So a 2A must compete at 3A. My son's school is a 2B or Large B that is already competing at 1A. Tends to balance that out I think.
